How much does it cost in my desired currency?
There is a dropdown box on the order page which allows to change the currency to your desired currency.
Are there additional costs?
AmiBroker is needed in order to use the PatternExplorer. A license for AmiBroker can be obtained from www.amibroker.com

While there are free data sources available directly through AmiQuote from AmiBroker a realtime data feeds is very useful for realtime alerts and the pivot tool. AmiBroker offers a wide range of data plugins for integrating realtime feeds. Check out AmiBroker for further details.
Where can I download a trial version?
What kind of support is included?
Yes, every license contains 1 year of professional, fast and friendly support. Support doesn’t end in a big FAQ.
Can I use your software on my Mac?
It can be used through virtualization and through bootcamp.
So you could either install Windows on your Mac and boot it at startup or you could use virtualization like parallels.com
Both solutions work quite well.
Can I get a refund?
Since our company is offering non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds after the product is delivered, which you are responsible for understanding upon purchasing. All sales are final. Please make sure that you’ve carefully read and viewed all relevant documentation and screenshots. Please send us a request to clarify any questions before purchasing.
How can I change the theme?
The file PE – Defaults.afl contains the variable PeTheme which can be set to “Light” or “Dark”;
When indicators are inserted the default values are read from the file PE – Defaults. Already inserted indicators can load the new default values by pressing the “Reset All” button in the parameter window.
Can I add PatternExplorer indicators to my own indicators?
Can I extend the PatternExplorer?
Yes, own indicators and signals based on these indicators or even combinations of own and build-in indicators are possible.
The customization possibilities are nearly unlimited.
PE - Defaults & PE - Mods error message
The PE – Default and PE – Mods file can not be used as an indicator and AFL checks inside the formula will result in errors, because these files are used by all the other tools. They can not be used as standalone indicators.
Is there a user manual available?
Yes, it is installed together with the software:

What is the difference between Chart Pattern Recognition 1 & 2
AmiBroker doesn’t start anymore after installing PatternExplorer
There are usually two possible reasons:
1.) The PatternExplorer has not been activated during the 30 day activation period. There is a reminder popping up for 30 days after installation at each AmiBroker start. However, if the reminder is ignored till the end of this period, AmiBroker will not start until the PatternExplorer.dll has been removed from the plugins folder or the software has been activated.
2.) Compatibility
New AmiBroker versions, usually beta version, sometimes need an update to our tools as well. We always try to provide an update of our software as soon as possible. In the meantime please inform us and move the PatternExplorer.dll to another folder or install a previous AmiBroker version.
